The fruit is usually ready to pick mid-July. Please follow the booking links at the bottom of the page to book. We aren’t currently able to cancel bookings so if you can’t make it, don’t worry - you are welcome to book another slot.

Picking Instructions
The fruit you are able to pick is the saskatoon fruit - it’s unusual - we are the only UK growers. There are lots of tips and recipes on Google with suggestions on how to use the fruit but you can eat it raw as well!
We will supply punnets if needed (look for the trailer!), but we encourage you to bring your own tubs if possible your own tubs. The best fruit is often hidden within the plants and aren't always obvious so have a good look deep into the plant, don't be afraid to plant the plants to have a look!ce plastic usage.
The site is unmanned; feel free to roam the site at your leisure and pick what you find! There may be some honeyberries left so have a good look around and enjoy!

The Lighthouse is a local charity based in Tillydrone, Aberdeen, which seeks to positively transform the community for the good of everyone and have been working in the Tillydrone community since 2003.
